Elliott strike earns point

Wade Elliott earned a precious 1-1 draw for Burnley with a 60th-minute strike to deny Roy Hodgson's Fulham the win their chances ought to have earned.

Bobby Zamora put the visitors in front in the 50th minute after a dominant first half in which Damien Duff and Clint Dempsey had fine chances.

But the Clarets finished strongly with Elliott volleying home from a deflected Stephen Jordan cross and Andre Bikey and Elliott having chances to win it.
