Westwood repeat hope

WARRINGTON’S Ben Westwood is looking for a repeat show against Hull tomorrow – both in the result and in his own perfromance.

Forward Westwood was praised by coach Paul Cullen for completing a full 80 minutes in the 43-24 victory over Wigan last Sunday.

The result took Warrington into fourth, level on points with tomorrow’s opponents meaning whoever wins at the KC Stadium will cement that spot for themselves.

“I was very happy with my performance, I thought defensively I was all right so I hope I do all right again,” said Westwood.

Chris Leikvoll (Achilles) is set to return but the game could come too soon for Vinnie Anderson (back). Rob Parker and Paul Johnson are still out.

Hull hope to have centre Kirk Yeaman (ankle) and full-back Shaun Briscoe (jaw) back in contention but winger Gareth Raynor (ankle) and prop Garreth Carvell (groin) are more likely to return. Australian winger Matt Sing is out with a foot injury.
