Rugby League: Price and Tomkins out for Widnes

WIDNES Vikings’s forwards Joel Tomkins and Gareth Price are missing from the 20-man squad head coach Steve McCormack named earlier this week for tonight’s National League 1 top of the table clash with Castleford (7.35pm).

Meanwhile Karl Fitzpatrick will put eight months of anguish and frustration behind him tomorrow night when he makes his comeback in Salford’s crucial engage Super League clash with St Helens at The Willows.

The full-back has spent the last eight months out with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
