RELEGATED Salford have signed former St Helens second row forward Stephen Bannister from Harlequins on a 12-month contract.
The 19-year-old made just three substitute appearances for St Helens before going on loan to Whitehaven but then joined Harlequins in June and made seven Super League appearances for them.
“Stephen is a fine utility player with Super League experience gained at St Helens and Harlequins,” said Salford coach Shaun McRae.
