Rugby Union: All Chester need is Love

THERE was a bright start for Chester in North Two West as they registered a 28-3 victory at Sandbach.

Simon Love gained two tries on the wing in an inspired performance.

His efforts were added to via Tom Chappell, Matt Sheen and new centre Simon Abiero, a Kenyan who has moved from Ilkley.

Full-back Simon Verbickas has returned to the squad from Broughton Park and stand-off Tom Foden has also rejoined and will fulfil the kicking duties.

Other newcomers include prop Chris Keene from Bowdon, back-row man Gareth Martin from Manchester and flanker come hooker Andy Moore, who has moved from New Brighton.

Sean Green is the new Chester captain and Rob Foden, father of Tom, has taken over the coaching duties.
