Rugby Union: Chester 26, New Brighton 26

NEW BRIGHTON produced an excellent second-half rally to share the spoils in North Two West.

Chester led 21-3 in the third quarter and were still 26-16 to the good inside the last ten minutes.

But Stephen Dean converted a Chris Dale try for the Blues and then struck a match-saving penalty.

Simon Abiero, Simon Love (2) and Matt Sheen went in for Chester, with Tom Foden converting three times.

The other Brighton try came from Mike Gallimore and Dean hit four penalties and two conversions in an influential display.
