CHESTER are well pleased with their start to the new season after relegation to North Two West.
They are currently bedding in a new look squad and with a win and a draw so far could be a force in the Division.
Skipper Sean Green was disappointed Chester yielded points in the closing minutes against New Brighton which brought about a 26-26 draw.
But at least Chester had the satisfaction of scoring four tries to two but now know they must cut out costly errors which handed the opposition penalty points.
Simon Love is showing fine form on the wing for the Hare Lane side. He helped himself to another two tries in the latest outing. Simon Abiero and Matt Sheen also went in with Tom Foden kicking the remainder of the points.
Chester are looking to build on the good work to date when they journey to Rochdale this Saturday.
