ANSELMIANS found Blackburn too strong in this EDF Energy Senior Vase but rallied well in the second period to give the scoreline some respectability.

Anselmians’ Mark Petterson gained two tries with Anthony Molloy on target with a conversion and a brace of penalties.

Blackburn, who held a 25-3 interval advantage, were worthy winners.
