THIS was a good South Lancashire/Cheshire One victory for Hoylake, who gained tries via Dan Gleeson and brothers Dominic and Mike Kearney. Stephen Young hit two of the conversions and a brace of penalties.
Widnes settled for a first-half penalty by Steve Mellor.
