NEW BRIGHTON suffered their first defeat in North Two West.
They were always trying to chase the game after going behind to a Matt Barnes-Smith penalty after just three minutes.
Lymm stretched to 24-10 by the halfway stage with tries via Adam Cox, Mark Sutton and Ashley Rockey plus three conversions.
Steve Dean raced the length of the field from an interception for a Blues touchdown and added the goal plus a penalty.
But Lymm made sure later with further tries from former Brighton player Dan Naylor and Andy Williamson plus two conversions and a penalty by Barnes-Smith and a Naylor drop goal.
New Brighton had the last say near the close with Chris Dale sending Steve Perryman away for their second try goaled by Dean.
But in the main it was a below par showing by the Blues.
