IT was the Christian Jones show at the Upper Park as, Incredibly, the hooker scored all five tries in a remarkable North One clash.
In his previous match he had notched a hat-trick of touchdowns and he now has 12 for the season.
The home side totally dominated the first period to lead 24-0 but then they did their best to throw it all away as the Tigers gritted their teeth after the break.
The visitors cut the advantage to seven points with an excellent second-half rally and were threatening an equalising score in the dying moments.
But then Park produced a terrific attack which saw Jones held up near the corner flag.
But subsequently the forwards drove over and the last man up with the ball was Jones.
The four first half touch owns came from rolling mauls and Tony Handley converted three times in all.
The Tigers were very dangerous in possession and their third try by Morne Burger came following a wonderful break by Franco Booysen from a quickly-taken penalty.
