Rugby Union: Visitors’ vale of tears

THIS was a terrific display by Chester with the Vale defence folding in the second period in this North Two West encounter.

The home backs had too much pace for the visitors.

Simon Abiero, Morne Barnado, Liam Lawton and Simon Love gained first-half touch downs for Chester with Matt Bebbington landing two of the conversions and a penalty.

Love added two more after the break with singles via Sam Donovan, Tom Chappell, Matt Sheen, Matt Bellamy and Abiero. Bebbington converted four and Tom Foden one while Vale had to settle for a try, a conversion and a penalty.
