Rugby Union: Anselmians 8, Hoylake 10

HOYLAKE just got home in a defence-dominated South Lancashire/Cheshire One League derby.

Anselmians, who led 8-3 at the break, did have chances to snatch the verdict but failed with a couple of late penalties.

Mike Chapman scored the home try with Anthony Molloy adding a penalty.

Hoylake gained a try by Dominic Kearney plus a decisive conversion and penalty by Steve Young.
