Rugby Union: Northwich 6, Chester 19

CHESTER were made to fight hard for this North Two West victory against a well-drilled Northwich.

The result was still in the balance at halfway but Chester took charge in the closing stages.

Matt Bellamy scored a try in each half from rolling mauls. Matt Sheen also went in and Matt Bebbington landed a couple of goals. Northwich had to settle for a brace of penalties as the visiting defence stood firm.
