Orrell soundly beaten by scintillating Collegiate

COLLEGIATE put in their performance of the season to date to beat Orrell 35-9.

Collegiate dominated all facets of play against an Orrell side on a high following their defeat of previously top of the table Sefton, but brought them down to earth with a hefty thump.

Ollie Hunt bagged 20 points with two tries, two conversions and two penalties, other tries coming from Andy Cowan, Dave Angwin and Chris Tees.

The second XV stay joint top in the Merseyside and Wirral Merit Table after a 13-12 win at Prenton. Baldwin scored the only try.
