Park’s home tie

RUGBY UNION: The third round draw in the EDF Energy Intermediate Cup saw Birkenhead Park and Chester handed home ties.

Birkenhead will entertain fellow North One League side Cleckheaton on Saturday December 8 and Chester will welcome Broughton Park.

New Brighton host the Wirral Floodlit Cup with ties being held on Wednesday evenings and the final is on Friday April 25.

Floodlit Cup quarter finals: Wallasey v Oldershaw (Jan.9); Parkonians v Ellesmere Port (Jan.23); Capenhurst v Helsby (Feb.6); Prenton v Port Sunlight (Feb.27).
