Leeds smash Liverpool

LIVERPOOL crashed at Wyncote as they lost 33-0 to Leeds University.

Down by two converted touch-downs, Liverpool lost Colm Evans with a head injury before Matt Williams departed with a leg injury. Leeds scored twice in the latter stages to provide a convincing victory. Today, Liverpool entertain Sheffield Hallamy (2pm) while Liverpool JMU host Durham at the Upper Park.

Merseyside Schools are involved today in the Daily Mail National Vase U15s competition. Caldy entertain Stockport while St Edwards host Cheadle Hulme.

In the Lancashire Cup Winstanley College entertain Range HS.

Skipton RFC will be the focus of the North of England U16s final batch on Sunday. The six County teams are one step from representing the North in the final England trials. Cheshire face Lancashire at 2pm. Merseyside include John Page, Ross O'Neill, Chris Thompson, David Markham.
