LEIGH returned to winning ways in North Two West with a 27-10 success over struggling Tyldesley.

It was a bad day for struggling Oldershaw in Division Two in a 57-0 loss at home to Warrington.

Neighbouring Wallasey won 13-0 at Collegiate thanks to a Keith Mahon try and a conversion and two penalties by Paul Lewis.

Sefton finished 24-11 up against Crewe and Nantwich. Mark Tymms, Tom Fletcher and Colin Pascoe crossed with John Fenton scoring three conversions and a penalty.

Southport lost 16-6 at Dukinfield while Orrell Anvils beat Ormskirk 11-5.

St Edwards lost 16-7 at Holmes Chapel in Division Three. Martin McGeough converted a Chris Lamontagne try. Prenton lost 14-3 at leaders Douglas.

Parkonians accounted for Ellesmere Port 27-6. Terry Williams, Alan Williams, Matt Dooley and Craig Whelan breached the Port defence. Andy Smith managed two conversions and Barry Owens one penalty.

Port Sunlight whipped West Park Warriors 55-0 in Division Four. Ross Lewis grabbed three tries. Merseyside Police were edged out 7-5 by Helsby and Capenhurst lost 31-17 at Marple.
