Chester still on top

CHESTER stayed top of North Two West with this hard-earned success against high-riding opponents Lymm.

It was 5-3 at the break before Lymm edged ahead with their second penalty in the third quarter.

But then Chester dug deep for victory.

Matt Bellamy added to his first-half try with a second, while Matt Sheen also crossed and Tom Foden landed a conversion and a penalty.

Lymm made the scoreline more respectable as they breached the home defence for the only time for a try in the closing moments.
