WIGAN won 13-8 against Vagabonds, Isle of Man in South Lancashire/Cheshire One League.

Aspull fell 0-30 at home to Sale and Ruskin Park lost 5-32 against Wilmslow.

Ormskirk crushed luckless Oldershaw 59-0 in Division Two. Sefton lost 0-8 away to Ashton on Mersey. Warrington saw off Collegiate 31-10 and Orrell Anvils beat Oswestry 15-3. Prenton were 7-3 to the good against Ellesmere Port.

St Edwards just failed 17-18 in the top of the table encounter with Douglas.

Mossley Hill saw off Newton Le Willows 45-5 but Parkonians lost 7-28 at Eagle.

Division Four scores included Knutsford 30 West Park Warriors 10; Marple 30 Port Sunlight 15; Merseyside Police 37 Capenhurst 22; and St Mary’s 27 Helsby 13.

Birchfield crushed Blackpool 58-0 in North Lancs One.
