Rugby Union: Chester on high after record win

IN-FORM Chester have high hopes of reaching the last eight in the EDF Energy Intermediate Cup on Saturday.
Ampthill from Bedfordshire stand in their way, after Chester posted a record win at the weekend 90-12 over Tyldesley to return to the top of North Two West League.
Tom Foden scored two of the 14 tries, and with nine conversions hit a personal points tally of 28.
Hooker Steve Roberts in his first start for the club touched down while replacement Aled Evans was given his debut. Lock John Beckwith was man of the match award.
