THIS was a brave display by Anselmians as their hopes of South Lancashire/Cheshire One survival were given another boost.

Anthony Molloy gained a try and Chris Wells the conversion, plus three penalties. Sale gained two tries, a conversion and a penalty and it was touch and go as the Eastham outfit hung on.
