Rugby Union: Burnage 18, Wirral 10

BURNAGE completed a double over Wirral in South Lancashire/Cheshire One but it was close.

Alistair Baker gained a try for Wirral with Craig Harvey hitting the conversion and a penalty.

But much good work by the Wirral pack counted for little as the home side managed two touch-downs, a conversion and two crucial penalties.
