Winnington Park: Hoping for a second win

WINNINGTON Park face their most important game of the season on Saturday at Tyldesley, the only club below them in North Two West.

Coach Mark Warr said: “This is make or break for us; a game we have to win. After our open date last Saturday, we have been putting in some hard work on the training ground this week to prepare properly.”

Without a point in their last three hours of rugby, Northwich have had a disappointing spell in North Two West, yet are in no immediate danger of relegation and hope to end their bad patch at Vale of Lune on Saturday.

Coach Paul Reid said: “We need to be showing more passion. After the wonderful season we had last year, many players have become complacent.”
