Leaders in command

CHESTER maintained their impressive form in North Two West League with a comfortable win.

The leaders were far too good for Rochdale. Ross White and man of the match Tom Foden dominated the first period with two tries each and Foden goaled twice.

Rochdale grabbed a touch-down just ahead of the break but Chester resumed control after the interval. There was a Foden penalty and then further tries through Matt Sheen (2), John Beckwith and Simon Abiero, plus another Foden goal.

Leigh were edged out6-5 at home to Sandbach. They scored the only try but two kicks won it for the visitors.
