ANOTHER handsome win kept Chester at the top in North Two West.
They face a crunch clash at New Brighton this Saturday and still to come is a home game against second-placed Stockport.
Chester were altogether too strong for Rochdale, winning 49-5 to give them a huge 447 points differential.
Ross White, Tom Foden and Matt Sheen each had three tries apiece with others via John Beckwith and Simon Abiero.
Man of the match Foden kicked the remainder of the points.
Chester are still on course for the double. They are into the penultimate stage of the countrywide EDF Energy Intermediate Cup with Newport, Shropshire standing in the way of a Twickenham final date.
Newport will visit Hare Lane in the semi-final on Saturday week.
