CHESTER, with the North Two West title well within their grasp, have a big cup occasion at Hare Lane on Saturday.
Newport, Shropshire, provide the opposition with a place in the Twickenham final of the EDF Energy Intermediate Cup at stake. Chester are capable of winning the tie, but will not take anything for granted. The league is top priority but they do not play again in the league until March 29 at home to Sandbach with only two other matches remaining.
Chester beat New Brighton 37-20 top open up a four points advantage.
