Garbett’s injury blow

DEFEAT by 19-3 at home to Broughton Park virtually sealed Winnington Park’s fate.

It now seems inevitable they will mark their Centenary season by being relegated from North Two West.

Suffering their 16th defeat in 19 games, Park were without Rob Garbett whose injury at Vale of Lune the previous week turned out to be a broken ankle.
