Sefton’s play-off hopes took a knock when they fell 20-5 at leaders Dukinfield.
Southport were pleased with a 20-5 win over Collegiate. There were also successes for Warrington 17-9 over Ormskirk and Orrell Anvils 15-10 at Ashton on Mersey.
Prenton boosted survival hopes in Division Three with a 24-18 success against Holmes Chapel but St Edwards lost at home to Moore.
Parkonians could not cope with leaders Douglas in a 27-7 loss. Eagle beat Mossley Hill 10-8 and Ellesmere Port accounted for Newton Le Willows 17-10.
Port Sunlight drew 6-6 with Capenhurst in Division Four.
