Liverpool Collegiate going for double

JUNIOR Division B North Champions Liverpool Collegiate will be looking for a league and cup double when they take on Rhyl on Sunday April 27 at Wigan RFC.

Widnes also will be hoping to follow in their footsteps after becoming Junior C South Champions and will face the winners of the delayed semi final between LSH and Sandbach which will be played on Sunday April 20.

The Lancashire RU Colts finals will take place at Rochdale on Sunday May 4.

There will be three finals with Broughton Park facing Widnes at Under 17 level.

Widnes are also through to the final of the Under 19 competition and they await the winners of the Merseyside derby between LSH and Liverpool Collegiate.

Wirral RFC has received a RF Foundation grant estimated at around £6,000 to help improve training and playing facilities for youngsters at the Club.
