Ormskirk eye up second

ORMSKIRK face a tough hurdle in their last outing in South Lancashire/Cheshire Two League on Saturday as they bid to ensure the runners-up spot in the table.

They are due at champions Dukinfield where a heavy defeat could put their hopes in jeopardy.

Sefton at home to Southport and Orrell Anvils at home to Warrington must win and hope but seem set to miss out on a top two finish.

Oldershaw and Collegiate will be relegated and will be replaced by Douglas and probably Trentham.

Parkonians and Prenton are facing the drop but there will no doubt be keen rivalry as they close with a derby encounter at Holm Lane.
