THERE was no joy for Aspull in their South Lancashire/Cheshire One clash at Bowdon. They lost 41-21 and could be relegated.
Dukinfield took the clash against Ormskirk 38-10 in Division Two. Sefton edged out Southport 8-6 thanks to a Tom Fletcher try and a John Fenton penalty.
Oldershaw and Ashton on Mersey played out a rare scoreless draw, Orrell Anvils just made it 13-11 against Warrington but Wallasey lost 26-22 at Oswestry. Prenton took the Division Three Wirral derby at Parkonians 14-8.
Ellesmere Port lost 24-5 at Holmes Chapel and there were also defeats for Eagle, 38-32 at Moore, and Mossley Hill 43-23 at home to Trentham.
St Edwards gained a penalty try plus the conversion and a penalty by Tony Evans in a 22-10 loss at Newton Le Willows.
Birchfield, in North Lancs One, just got home 15-14 at the expense of Burnley.
