Rugby Union: Wallasey 17, Crewe and Nantwich 12

WALLASEY kept hold of the Lees Cheshire Plate with a hard-earned 17-12 victory over Crewe and Nantwich in the final at Winnington Park on Monday.

It completed a good end of season for Wallasey who had retained the Wirral Floodlit Cup a few days previously.
