CHESHIRE make a number of changes, some of them enforced, for today’s County Championship clash with Lancashire at New Brighton (3pm).
Tom Eaton from Stockport and Sam Cottrell from Esher form a new half-back partnership and Longton’s Tom Hughes comes in at centre with Marcus Coast from Caldy dropping to bench duty.
Christian Jones from Birkenhead Park gets the hooking role and Jeremy Bostock from Macclesfield joins Manchester’s Matt Owen in the second-row.
A number of Manchester players who were in the side which lost to Yorkshire last Saturday were not available today because of club tour commitments.
Neil Dowridge and Richard Bradshaw from Caldy along with Nick Pearson from Sheffield Tigers join the bench party.
Defeat for Cheshire would leave them facing a must win match against Warwickshire at Coventry today week to avoid relegation to the second tier of the Championship.
