Caldy aim to keep pace at the top

CALDY, with four wins under their belts, journey to Huddersfield today hoping to stay in contention for top place in National Three North League.

It has certainly been a great start to the new campaign for the Paton Field outfit.

They will fancy their chance of collecting more points today but will not be able to take anything for granted against the Yorkshire outfit.

The starting line-up is likely to remain unchanged.

In North One Birkenhead Park have only their second home game of the season with Beverley due at the Upper Park.

Skipper Christian Jones is still missing. Matt Ibbotson starts at prop with Colin Campbell switching to the second-row.

Coach Shaun Gallagher takes bench duty.

Chester face new opposition against Peterborough at Hare Lane in Midlands One.

Richard Moore moves to prop with Dewi Parry taking the hooking role.

New Brighton hope to build on their first success last weekend in North Two West when they travel to Altrincham Kersal.

Waisale Navinidakua makes his debut in the centre and Lario Tuliva gets a start at scrum-half.

Ikuna Manuofetoa appears in the second-row with Taniele Delaitamana in the back-row as the side takes on a South Sea Islands look.

Lotu Neuneutau at prop and Kati Tuipulotu at No.8 also feature.
