A CALDY v Macclesfield Cheshire derby and a cross river Birkenhead Park v West Park clash highlight the local rugby union programme tomorrow.

Caldy must avenge a December reverse at Priory Park to retain their title chance in National Three North.

Birkenhead look to keep their excellent North One run going at the expense of West Park who have had very mixed fortunes this season. Leading scorer Dave Hall is a fitness doubt for Birkenhead.

Chester will expect to beat Hinckley at Hare Lane to maintain prospects of a second-placed finish in Midlands One.

Dave Legat joins the back-row and Tim Padmore gets a start at prop.

New Brighton’s hopes of a top-two finish in North Two West have gone but they can still have a say in the outcome with third placed Rossendale due at Hartsfield. Several players are set to return including fly-half Stephen Dean.
