David Moyes 320
FORGET blaming David Moyes for Marouane Fellaini’s booking against Hull.
He is the manager and his job is to make sure his team wins the game they are playing – not to babysit his players.
If you think Moyes is getting a bit of stick now, imagine what he would have been subjected to if he had taken off one of his goalscorers and altered his system – because that’s what he would have had to do without the Belgian – and then lost the two-goal lead.
And three precious points.
You can never rely on a game being the same after the break as it was before.
And Hull have shown great powers of recovery in many of their away matches this season, including their win at the Emirates.
If the game had been heading the same way after 10 or 15 minutes of the second half, then Fellaini should have been removed.
