INDIVIDUALLY, I’m sure David Moyes will be disappointed that his three call-ups didn’t get on the pitch for England at Wembley on Saturday.
On a personal level, however, the Everton manager must be delighted.
If they can’t get on in a friendly then it’s unlikely they will see much action in a vital World Cup qualifier with Ukraine tomorrow.
All they will have been doing for two weeks is training and resting.
All this ahead of a home game with Wigan that’s been pushed back a day because of the Grand National and if they win will surely seal at least sixth place.
