BACK at Melwood for a training session yesterday – not exactly rolling back the years.
I can’t remember the last time I put a pair of boots on and stepped out on to grass to play – but I play five-a-side in Southport every week and that absolutely kills me.
Still, it’s great to catch up with the ex-players and get together for a good cause, which is what Thursday’s Hillsborough anniversary charity match at Anfield will be.
It will be worth going along to Anfield – and I can guarantee that you’ll enjoy it more than I will!
