LIVERPOOL were comfortable, very, very comfortable at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
They were absolutely in control and scored the goals at the right time – they probably should've scored more.
There was a nice balance to the team and getting the victory over Roy Hodgson will no doubt have been that extra bit sweeter for the Liverpool supporters.
West Brom are not a bad side even though they are in the bottom third of the table yet Liverpool made it comfortable with a professional performance.
Away from home the players just get that little bit of extra room and after drawing with Norwich City in the last league match, it was important to bounce back with a result.
Someone will kop it soon, if you pardon the expression, because the way Liverpool are attacking it will not be long before they knock a side for four or five.
Steven Gerrard is said to be in a cast, you would imagine as a precautionary measure for his ankle injury more than anything.
We'll learn the true extent of his ankle injury in the coming days but of course it's a concern that no sooner had Liverpool got him back fit then he's out again.
The quicker Liverpool get him back to 100% the better because he takes that team up a gear
