FOR me, the title race has been run. It is done and dusted, with Manchester United coming strong just as City lose their nerve.
And once again, Mario Balotelli is claiming the headlines.
You have to be able to rely on your players, and City cannot rely on the Italian.
City put themselves in a great position, clear at the top of the league despite the Carlos Tevez saga and despite, up to a certain point, Balotelli.
But as soon as Balotelli lost his form, he became a distraction. And whereas everyone at United is pulling in the right direction, the same cannot be said for City.
When at Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho was asked to sum up Balotelli.
He needed just one word: “Unmanageable.”
