THE FA Cup resumes this weekend. And it might be fair to say the old competition has enjoyed something of a renaissance this season.
Crowds have been up and, while it’s no longer a top priority for clubs who regularly flirt with the Champions League, for the majority of the other teams and their supporters FA Cup day remains a big day.
Not least because away teams can take thousands more fans, giving more scope for supporters to see their team on the road.
