I HAVE said all along that Liverpool are my favourites to finish fourth.
And I haven’t seen anything over the weekend to change my mind.
Not even Manchester City’s destruction of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Because I still think there are too many question-marks over City when they go away from home.
That might be a bit rich considering what they just did to the league leaders but let’s get back in the real world here for a minute.
The players won’t have that kind of personal motivation to go out and do it for a team-mate every week.
And don’t forget, approaching half-time in that game Roberto Mancini was all but on his way – his team had put in a complete non-performance.
In short, you still never know what you’re going to get when Mancini takes his team on the road.
Similarly, Spurs could be vulnerable due to the amount of injuries and a fixture backlog could do for Aston Villa.
But with Gerrard and Torres back on goalscoring form? No such problems for Liverpool!
