Coyne earns Wales call-up

TRANMERE goalkeeper Danny Coyne has been included in the Wales squad for the friendly international against Bulgaria in Bourgas on Wednesday, August 22.

Rovers have no midweek game scheduled next week, ahead of a League One fixture against Brighton at Prenton Park on Saturday, August 25.

Meanwhile Tranmere have been drawn at home to Football League newcomers Morecambe in the first round of the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy. The tie is on the week commencing September 3.
