Ex-Rover Aiston ready to commit to Little

FORMER Tranmere winger Sam Aiston is ready to commit the rest of his season to Brian Little’s Wrexham.

Aiston, 31, joined the North Wales club on loan from Northampton soon after former Prenton Park manager Little took charge of team affairs at the Racecourse this month.

Northampton are prepared to release Aiston to Wrexham on a permanent basis after the initial loan runs out in January. The player and his family live in the Shrewsbury area.

Aiston made 40 senior appearances for Tranmere during the 2005-06 season, Little’s last in charge at Prenton Park.
