Peterborough game called off

TRANMERE’S League One encounter with Peterborough was postponed following an inspection of the pitch by match referee Phil Gibbs today.

Rovers were hoping the frost covers on the Prenton Park pitch would help them defy the cold snap and keep the game on.

But an unusual combination of weather factors conspired against them.
