Glorious Glastonbury baked in soaring temperatures before Kylie Minogue finally made her appearance on the main stage - five years after she was initially due to perform.
Minogue joined the Scissor Sisters to perform Any Which Way,
The former soap star joined Jake Shears and Ana Matronic on stage to perform Any Which Way.
After the energetic performance, frontman Jake Shears asked: "What is it like being on the Glasto stage?"
Minogue smiled and said "remember this" before kissing him and waving to the crowd. Their set continued the party atmosphere on the Pyramid Stage ahead of headliners Muse.
The Scissor Sisters' Ana Matronic said: "This is my fifth Glastonbury but only the second time I have been on stage. The rest of the times I have been down there with y'all enjoying those great moments."
And many thought one such great moment happened as the band played their final song Filthy/Gorgeous when Shears whipped off his trousers and danced in nothing but his pants.
Already the crunch World Cup match is on many people's minds - the unanimous verdict being an England victory. During their set on the Pyramid Stage, 90s favourites the Lightning Seeds prompted a mass singalong of "football's coming home" during their hit Three Lions.
Lead singer Ian Broudie said: "Go and win it England - beat Germany and Argentina and win the World Cup."
After sterling performances from Gorillaz and The Flaming Lips on the two biggest stages last night the baton now passes to Muse and electronic pop duo The Pet Shop Boys. Super group The Dead Weather - featuring White Stripes frontman Jack White - also perform later and diva Shakira is set to get pulses racing as the sun goes down above Worthy Farm.
