“But we have confidence in ourselves after the way the season has started. We are right at the top of the tables in both the Premier League and the Champions League, so we believe we can continue this level of success.

“There are no easy games in the Champions League, Marseille beat us here last season so we know they have quality.

“And it must not be forgotten that Marseille have to win, they cannot sit back and defend, they need to beat us. It makes the game more interesting.

“But we know how important it is to win this one, make sure of qualification for the next stage and then to be able to concentrate on the Premier League.”
