X-Factor runner-up Ray gives thanks to Merseyside

Mother-of-two Helen Richards, 31, from Liverpool, said: “I am so upset that I couldn’t watch the final of X-Factor.
“I have voted every week and I couldn’t hear Ray or Leona sing their hearts out. I am absolutely gutted.”
The TV blackout was caused by a fault with a new recording drive. It left one per cent of the telecommunication giant’s 3m customers without TV.
