AS lovely as it is to enjoy organised firework displays, after spending the weekend in my home feeling like I lived in a warzone as rockets went off all around me – on Saturday well into the early hours – I think it is time we banned the sale of fireworks to the general public. It would ease the burden on the fire services, cut down on injuries and make November 5 much safer for everyone.Read
